TeleGeography's Russian research specialists Jonathan Hjembo and Elliott Cheresh will be returning to Capacity Russia & CIS on October 18-19.

Meet with Jon and Elliott in Moscow to learn more about TeleGeography's data coverage of Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.

Jon will be moderating the keynote debate "Evaluating Partnership and Investment Opportunities in Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan" on Oct 19th at 10:30am. Hear from Tier 1 CIS carriers as they discuss their plans to grow international voice and data wholesale in Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America. Topics up for debate include:

  • Which CIS markets are showing the biggest growth in international wholesale agreements?
  • What regulatory challenges need to be overcome to facilitate wholesale trading between the CIS and international markets?
  • To what extent is the economic situation in Russia influencing local and international business development in the CIS?

Joining Jon to discuss these issues are Hayk Faramazyan of GNC-ALFA CJSC (Rostelecom Group), Andrey Khan of Kaztranscom, Gareth Evers of Kaztranscom, Bakyt Sharshembiev of Kyrgyztelecom.

Now in its 12th year, Capacity Russia & CIS 2016 is the largest wholesale telecoms event in the region. The massive event brings together Russian, CIS, and international carriers, data centres, cloud providers, IXPs, submarine, and terrestrial cable companies to build partnerships and unlock new revenue opportunities.
