Cloud and WAN Research Service | Q2 2024

A lot has been happening inside the Cloud and WAN research subscription. 

For starters, we have brand new WAN Manager Survey data and analysis. 

In late 2023 we again surveyed network professionals and conducted in-depth follow-up interviews to understand their WANs. This year, participating companies had a 2022 median annual revenue of approximately $44.0 billion; 90% of the companies we profiled earned more than $1 billion.

Our questions focused on three things:

• As we've done previously, we asked participants about different aspects of their current network configuration; this includes what underlay products they're using, bandwidths, and their network sourcing strategies. 
• We also discussed network security, including data repatriation and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• We asked participants to tell us how they're integrating the cloud and Networking-as-a-Service (NaaS) into their enterprise networks.
