IP Networks Forecast Service | H1 2024

The IP Networks Forecast Service recently underwent its H1 2024 update.

Subscribers should be aware of three notable changes:

• Historical and forecast internet backbone volume updates from summer 2024
• Transit versus peering split from May 2024 BGP table analysis
• Updated IP transit pricing and revenue forecasts

We do not yet have year-end 2024 IP transit prices in the model—we'll add that in the next update. However, if IP transit prices track developments in the transport market, it looks like long-term price declines may fall somewhat faster we had anticipated.
