The IP Transit Forecast Service has recently been updated.

What's New?

To start, we have fresh data for several important variables in the H1 2020 model:

• Historical and forecast internet backbone volume updates from summer 2020. (Based on new data from internet backbone providers, we also adjusted some 2019 volume data retroactively.)
• Transit versus peering split from May 2020 BGP table analysis.

We used this infusion of new information to update our findings on volumes, transit share, prices, and revenues. You'll find plenty of new insight, including a reflection on COVID-19's impact on our 2020 forecasts.
