The IP Transit Forecast Service has recently been updated.
What's New?
There are two major updates to note:
- We added historical IP transit prices from year-end 2020 and updated our price forecasts based on this new data.
- We extended the forecast period from 2025 to 2026.
As you look closer, you'll see the net effects of this new data across the product.
For example, global and regional weighted-average prices fell in this model update.
We noted that Latin America experienced faster-than-expected price erosion. Prices in the United States also fell somewhat faster than anticipated. That said, prices for other countries largely tracked with expectations.
