Here are a handful of updates you'll notice throughout our Pricing Suite.
IP Transit
- A treasure trove of new price points. We make a big annual push for IP transit pricing and market intelligence mid-year. Now that Q2 and Q3 2021 have added a wealth of new data across all the regions we track, it's the perfect time to dive in.
- The latest IP transit price trends. Now that internet backbone operators have adapted their networks to accommodate changes in traffic flows as a result of COVID-19, they've resumed a more measured approach to capacity planning and network upgrades in 2021. That means that price trends have resumed their downward trajectory and regional characteristics accordingly.
- State-of-the-art market intelligence. We’ve woven all of this new intel—and findings from our annual market interviews with IP transit providers—into the 2021 update of Global Internet Geography. Wavelengths
- Answers to your wavelength questions. Q2 2021 injected fresh wavelength pricing into our database and, unsurprisingly, price points have continued to fall globally. But by how much? And how do prices compare across markets?
- A spotlight on the Americas. The team took a closer look at bandwidth prices across the Americas in our August Bandwidth Price Report. Business Broadband
- New plans, fresh data. The annual update of our Business Broadband Pricing Data was completed in Q3 2021. This year, we've updated and added over 7,500 unique business broadband plans (pricing and features) for bandwidths ranging from 1 Mbps to 10 Gbps across more than 170 countries. The team also explored the role of business broadband in enterprise WAN and highlighted pricing trends of certain access types in our annual market summary.
