TeleGeography's WAN Manager Survey has recently been updated and there’s new data to explore.
In previous WAN Manager Survey editions, TeleGeography surveyed WAN and IT infrastructure managers who were directly familiar with our organization.
In 2022, TeleGeography outsourced the fieldwork of surveying global enterprise individuals familiar with WAN and IT infrastructure. We partnered with SG Analytics (SGA) to survey IT infrastructure professionals around the world and increase the response rate of our survey.
This method of outsourcing the WAN Manager Survey allowed us to understand the network trends for a broader array of companies than those we have direct contact with. It also allowed us to expand the n of our survey from several dozen to a few hundred and identify trends from the broader market rather than just those from enterprises engaged directly in market intelligence and conferences.
