Who Will You Meet at WAN Summit New York? We Filled This Blog Post With This Year's Attendees.

As WAN Summit New York swiftly approaches, we thought we'd give you a look at who is set to attend this year's conference. (Warning: it's a packed lineup this year. Our list is pretty long.)

Where to start?

There's Chalan Aras from Citrix, who has been a panelist at the WAN Summit before and will be presenting the day two keynote this time around. Chalan is set to provide Citrix's perspective on how SD-WAN is changing the environment for enterprise customers.

The day one keynote will come from our friend Colin Spence at BT Global Services. He'll be taking on how smart networks are changing corporate networks. Be sure to grab a seat for his 9:10 a.m. presentation.

The WAN Summit aims to put as many end-user voices on stage as possible. In London we had Snehal Patel from The Gap present on their transition to SD-WAN. Next week he'll do an update of that presentation for the New York audience. (He gave us a sneak peek of his presentation during our recent webinar.)

We'll also welcome Lionel Marie, Lead Network Architect of Schneider Electric, who will be presenting a case study. His presentation will highlight how Schneider Electric has been transforming the network to be cloud-ready and how they have used internet peering. 

We also look forward to WAN Summit veteran Ciaran Roche of Coevolve and his presentation on the latest buzzwords in corporate WAN management—and what they really mean.

The TeleGeography crew will also be well-represented. Keep an eye out for our own Greg Bryan, Erik Kreifeldt, Patrick Christian, Mike Bisaha, Elliott Cherish, Jon Hull, and Mike Owings.

And as Greg put it in our recent interview about the WAN Summit, "I think the key is hitting a broad range of industries, so that whatever industry you’re from, you might be able to pick out some useful little tidbits from all of those different places and apply them to your situation."

So as WAN Summit New York aims to expand the set of industries that attendees hear from, we'll welcome cross-industry perspectives from the likes of VWR International, Gate Gourmet, Abilita, Convergys, NYNOG, Pilot Fiber, NPD Group, and State Street Global Markets.

Attendees can also expect panels packed with the likes of Windstream, Tata Communications, Aruba Networks, Expereo, Techcaliber Consulting, Viprinet Europe, Velocloud, and Viptela. As well as Leosat Enterprises, Extrahop Networks, Open Systems of Switzerland, SD-WAN Experts, Teraco, Sensata Data, and Aryaka Networks. (We told you this was a long list.)
