With a fresh map release, an updated e-book, a new presentation deck and more, March has been madness for TeleGeography.
Let's recap some stuff you might have missed.
U.S. and China wage war beneath the waves – over internet cables
In a new special report, Reuters explores how subsea cables are central to the U.S.-China tech war.
It's an eye-opening piece—and you'll see TeleGeography cited several times throughout.
Connecting the world: Undersea cables with Alan Mauldin
Last year, both Doug Madory and Phil Gervasi—Kentik’s Directors of Internet Analysis and Technical Evangelism, respectively—joined us on TeleGeography Explains the Internet.
Research Director Alan Mauldin has gladly returned the favor with an appearance on Kentik's Telemetry Now podcast. Give the episode a listen to hear Alan, Doug, and Phil talk about submarine cables and the global internet.
Explore the 2023 Submarine Cable Map
Our latest Submarine Cable Map was released this month, depicting 529 cable systems and 1,444 landings that are currently active or under construction.
Inside this edition, you'll find tons of information on new builds, hubs, bandwidth, content providers, and more.
Our very talented Designer and Cartographer Larry Lairson even joined Greg on the pod to talk about his design process.

Alan also recently appeared on the SubOptic stage with VP of Research Tim Stronge to take down another batch of telecom myths. And their full presentation is now available to download.
But wait—there's more! On Tuesday, April 4, Tim joined Ciena's Brian Lavallée for a webinar covering key highlights, industry trends, and insights from this year’s SubOptic event.

The 2023 SD-WAN Vendor Guide also just landed.
